This scene from the Aviator movie has used a lot of excellent aspects of filming elements. This includes how it uses such a big variety of camera movements. Involving the extreme long shots of the scenery, close ups on the mans face, extreme close up on gear stick of plane, medium shot of plane flying and long shot of plane crash landing. The speed of the extreme close up shot of his hand grasping the gear stick of the plane is very slow, to allow the audience know that he is now in control of the plane. This scene uses excellent cutting shots for example the fast shots from the dials on the front board of the plane. Therefore the Aviator is a great film that has high quality filming techniques.
